Samar Shesh Hai (समर शेष है) अब्दुल बिस्मल्लाह का कथात्मक उपन्यास है। कथा नायक है, सात-आठ साल का मातृविहीन बच्चा, जो कि पिता के साथ-साथ स्वयं भी भारी विषमता से ग्रसित है, लेकिन पिता का असामयिक निधन उसे जैसे विकट जीवन-संग्राम में अकेला छोड़ जाता है। पिता के सहारे उसने जिस सभ्य और सुरक्षित जीवन के सपने देखे थे, वे उसे एकाएक ढहते हुए दिखाई दिए। फिर भी उसने साहस नहीं छोड़ा और पुरुषार्थ के बल पर अकेले ही अपने दुर्भाग्य से लड़ता रहा। इस दौरान उसे यदि तरह-तरह के अपमान झेलने पड़े तो किशोरावस्था से युवावस्था की ओर बढ़ते हुए एक युवती के प्रेम और उसके हृदय की समस्त कोमलता का भी अनुभव हुआ, लेकिन इस प्रक्रिया में न तो वह कभी टूटा या पराजित हुआ और न ही अपने लक्ष्य को कभी भूल पाया। कहने की आवश्यकता नहीं कि विपरीत स्थितियों के बावजूद संकल्प और संघर्ष के गहरे तालमेल से मनुष्य जिस जीवन का निर्माण करता है, यह कृति उसी की अभिव्यक्ति है।

सत्या व्यास जी वैसे तो प्रेम, सामाजिक लेखन करते हैं पर पहली बार थ्रिलर उपन्यास लिखा और क्या खूब लिखा। एक लाइन में कहूं तो कमाल लिखा है। मुझ जैसे नए थ्रिलर लेखक को भी बहुत कुछ सीखने को मिला। सर को अनुराग कुमार जीनियस की ओर से बहुत बहुत शुभकामनाएं।
