कामरान हुसैन अव्वल दर्जे का मुसव्विर था लेकिन उसके हुनर पर एक बदनुमा दाग ये था कि कभी-कभी उसके बनाए हुए चित्र किसी की मौत का फरमान बन जाते थे। जिन बदकिस्मत लोगों की शक्लें उसके कैनवास पर नुमाया होती थीं, उनके साथ अगले ही रोज़ से अजीबोगरीब वाकयात होने लगते थे। उन्हें न समझ आने वाली आवाजें सुनाई देने लगती थीं और अंत में एक काला साया उन्हें लेकर किसी रहस्यमयी महल में चला जाता था।
